Faizal Ariff bin Shamim Ahmad is the Chief Executive Officer & Chief Finance Officer of Grizpower Sdn Bhd. A Bumiputera Malaysian, Faizal founded Grizpower in 2005 and is currently the main & sole shareholder of the company.
Faizal studied Marketing & Finance in Melbourne, Victoria and upon returning to Kuala Lumpur, began his career as a Sales Executive in Citibank Berhad. Within a short span of time, was promoted to a Manager in the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Marketing Department.
In this role, he took care of more than 20 corporate partnership accounts while simultaneously starting Grizpower. In 2007, he left Citibank to focus on managing Grizpower full time.
From a humble 2 staff company, Faizal has since expanded Grizpower, moving the company to a larger office facility to accommodate the additional workforce that is consistently growing and currently stands at close to 20 staff.
Faizal, while also assuming the role of Managing Director, intends to increase the range of products to complement the current list of equipment under the Grizpower umbrella, while offering engineering solutions to cater to the service sector of the oil & gas and power industry.
