STEAM TURBINES

Grizpower Sdn Bhd carries the exclusive agency for the Elliott Group which designs, manufactures and services critical turbo machinery.

Elliott steam turbines have earned a reputation as the most rugged, reliable and versatile drivers in the industry.  Combining engineering expertise, rugged designs and precision manufacturing, Elliott steam turbines are built to perform and endure years of continuous service.  These powerful workhorses provide exceptional value and performance in a broad range of mechanical and power generation applications.  With power requirements, steam conditions and speeds constantly rising, Elliott has continued to develop its steam turbine product lines to meet ever more challenging operating conditions.  Elliott steam turbines are rated for inlet steam conditions up to 2000 psig/1005 degrees F and speeds up to 20,000 rpm.

These steam turbines come in a variety of sizes ranging from small, 20 hp (15 kW) single stage units, to large 135,000 hp (100,000 kW) multi-valve, multi-stage extraction condensing units and can be built to API standards and customized to meet exacting customer specifications.

Gearbox Applications & Services

Grizpower Sdn Bhd has been an authorized sales representative for Philadelphia Gear® brand products in Malaysia since 2009. Based in the United States, Philadelphia Gear was acquired by The Timken Company in 2011 but continues to manufacture and support its core product and service offerings under the Philadelphia Gear name. These include:

• New and replacement gearboxes
• Gear drive repair
• OEM gearbox replacement parts and services
• Onsite Technical Services™

Since then, The Timken Company has also acquired several electric motor facilities and a bearing repair operation, integrating them with Philadelphia Gear to form a network of facilities under the Timken Power Systems (TPS) umbrella. This network provides comprehensive electromechanical drivetrain solutions—including gearbox, electric motor, generator, and bearing repair services.

In addition to Philadelphia Gear products, the company also manufactures and supplies Nippon Gear units and parts, originally designed and licensed by Philadelphia Gear. Reverse engineering services are also available to produce exact drop-in replacements for other gearbox brands and models.
